The Hungry Backpacker: A Restaurant Review Blog

Hello backpackers, welcome to my restaurant review blog!

Ultimately, my goal is for this restaurant review blog to serve as a comprehensive source of affordable restaurants, with a few places that offer excellent quality at really reasonable prices in each city I visit. Whenever I arrive in a new city, I feel that I spend a lot of time trying to look for a good dining deal, and I would love to be able to help others save a little bit of their valuable travel time by sharing the best of my experiences here. You can either use this as a starting point before beginning your own culinary journey, or as a guide to many wonderfully affordable restaurants.

You can use the toolbar above to navigate the site, whether you want to find any of my delicious restaurant recommendations from my travels or read more about who I am and why I started this blog. All of the photos on this page are my own, and they all feature pieces of my culinary adventures so far. Whether its tasting cheese in Amsterdam, wine in Piedmont, or the vibrant spices of the Egyptian Bazaar in Istanbul, all of these experiences have helped me grow and develop my love of quality food and drinks. I hope you enjoy following along as I grow the site with each new traveling experience.

Broc the Kasbah:

A vegetarian’s paradise in the marvelous medina of Marrakech!

On my first night in the city, this hidden gem in a peaceful corner of the medina provided the perfect fuel for my three-day excursion into the Sahara Desert, where I was able to see some amazing sights like this picturesque sunset.

Feel free to click the restaurant name above if you’re interested in exploring this unique spot for vegetarian food in Marrakech.
